Lewis has had his mustache for two or three years. He also believes that as the year goes by, we will know him better. He promises that his door is always open to anyone with a problem. He is a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the Air Force. He is very active in church, civic and social work. Gendron is a fine principal, and one that has greatly helped him with his work at the school. High library has gotten in many new books and encyclopedias.
Since the end of the last school year the West Jr. This choir consists of thirty-four boys and fifteen girls.
Eskridge reports that second period chorus, which is a mixed choir will also perform on the same dates. and they will repeat the performance on December 9th for the student body. On December 8th they will give their first performance for the P.T.A. The first period all-girl choir consists of thirty-eight members. The choral groups have made a lot of progress so far this year. This is a greatly deserved and rarely given honor. Martin Gendron, our principal at West was presented a State Lifetime Membership and pin for his work toward the objectives of the P.T.A., at its first meeting of the year which featured a Back-To-School night as the program.
